Hi, I'm John. I'm a product designer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
I specialise in UX & UI design, front-end development and creating user-friendly, accessible interfaces. Over the course of the last decade I have had to opportunity to work both in-house and freelance with some amazing people and brands, including Google, Red Bull and Subaru.
iManage

iManage are an industry leader in document management and security software for law firms, corporate legal departments, and other professional services.
I work within iManage's Security and Information Governance team where I am the lead designer on Security Policy Manager and Records Manager. My role includes creating rapid prototypes for new features within the products, designing the interface, building for desktop and mobile, as well as coming up with email strategies for notifications and contributing to ICE, iManage's user interface style guide.

Letter 27 is typography blog that I launched in March 2020. The blog focuses on the forgotten 27th letter of the alphabet: The ampersand.
Sherlayer
Role: Creative Lead, UX Design, Art Direction, Prototyping, CSS, Mobile
Sherlayer is a document management, collaboration platform for the construction and engineering sectors. Their focus is on building a mobile-first BIM (Building Information Modelling) application.
Mammoth

Mammoth are an Belfast based brand consultancy with a digital mindset.
I worked at Mammoth as a Senior Designer and Front-End Developer. Specialising in taking projects from the initial customer brief, right the way through to final completion.
My role varied from email marketing strategies to fully responsive web interfaces, complete with content management system.
